SUMMONING OLD KUMA

Summoning Old Kuma is SKAPHOS‘s fifth album. The drums were performed by Kevin Paradis (Benighted), the album was mixed by Jimbo Gonçalves (Igorrr) and mastered by Thibault Chaumont (Carpenter Brut). The artwork was created by Paolo Girardi (Inquisition).

Summoning Old Kuma is a ritual. An offering to the mighty Okean. The tribal percussion and solemn choirs reinforce its ritualistic and sacrificial character, blending once again with SKAPHOS‘ razor-sharp Black Death, heir to the legacy of Behemoth, Immolation and Belphegor.

Renowned for their harrowing, ritualistic live shows, Skaphos has performed in over 20 countries across Europe and Asia, including appearances at Hellfest and Motocultor, as well as tours alongside legendary acts such as I Am Morbid, Vader, Marduk, Suffocation, Belphegor, Batushka and Vomitory.
